As with the previous unimpressive non-reaction using a solution of Epsom salts, I decided to spur on As Above; So Below by the addition of the same electrolising agents of CuSO4 and NH3Cl.

Again, a few days later there were visible reactions and depositions, especially of copper and its compounds, indicated by green and blue colouration and most interestingly the growth of a frond-like copper dendrite under the surface of the liquor in the alkaline vessel.
